DQX Directional Coring Tool

Directional coring technology can not only obtain conventional core data, but also formation and fracture attitude factors (e.g. dip and trend). These data play an important role in research of oil/gas reservoir structure, especially the fracture distribution pattern of fractured reservoir, which helps to draw up a feasible development plan. A labeled slot is generated as directional coring drilling proceeding. Simultaneously, multi-shot image inclinometer is applied to measure necessary parameter while drilling. In the end, reset measure or computer calculation is done to analyze the altitude factors of formation and fracture.
